Look Out Title Nine Models!

Photography courtesy of Mary:

A post race shot with my running partner. We ran a 23:14 and we were disappointed to find out there was no milk or ice cream at the finish line! It was 74 degrees and 100% humidity, ugh. Ice cream would have been wonderful.

After receiving a medal for first place in my age group.

And yes, there are cows on the t-shirt.

Way to go! So, that makes TWO first place medals in one weekend. You rock. Hardcore. I gotta admit, after that race today, I want more. So I am officially beginning intense training for the next 5k. Today, I will only have 4 beers instead of 7..

Good job (ok, I admit that I have no idea what is good in running terms, but you got 1st, so I'm assuming you are good)! So...how was the skirt?

Hello,

I've never been in a blog before, but had googled sticky hand obsession and found this.

I have 3 1/2 year old that has always been sensitive to sticky hands (He always has a washcloth next to him when eating to keep his hands clean and to save me from 20 trips to the bathroom in one meal for handwashing). So far I wasn't too worried about this, but this weekend it went beyond mealtime and he has been clenching his fists to keep from touching anything that might cause stickiness, including not picking up his utensils and just sticking his face in his food to eat.

I understand that when he clenches his fist and releases it he is feeling that natural mild stickiness skin touching skin creates, but I can't seem to explain this to him and he wants to wash his hands constantly.

How old were you when your problem with sticky hands started, and what helped you keep from being paralyzed by it?

I know this doesn't have anything to do with the blog, but I didn't know if there was any other way to get a message to you.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
