I had no idea how brutal and intense showing livestock at the fair can be. I have learned more this week than I did in six years of college. I'll be back once I recover.
I have tried to convince myself of this since I was a child. Now, as an adult living with four sticky children, "a wanna be full-time farmer" husband, and a sometimes sticky dog, I still don't believe it.

In the end, what we do - we do for the children. I hope my three truly realize that for the past two days I allowed UV rays to penitrate and then char and sear my flesh to a crisp so they could have their fun. :(
See you in the morning.
Love the braids - great job Mary.
Mechelle, I'm looking forward to hearing how it all went. Take a nap first.
The pigs looked good - and tastey! Seneca did a great job for her first time out. And I too learned much about pigs.
