New Girl in Town

Taking a break from pig announcements to introduce my new friend:

10 miles of ass kicking trail and this was my reward.

She will even hold a giant sized muffin.

And she fits in well with the rest of the girls.

Good food, good crowd, good run, and awesome t-shirts. Because it is all about the t-shirt.

That is a greaat t-shirt. And the mug looks just the right size. Congrats on a great run and great goodies!

I might think about running if I could get a mug like that! I have too many t-shirts, but never enough cool mugs and Pete discourages me from actually "buying" any new ones.

That is a good looking tee! As someone who owns eight hideous St. Johns Mint Festival tee-shirts, I truly appreciate it when event planners come up with something fashionable.

The agony was totally worth the mug. And it was agony. In fact I don't remember much of the race, video brain clips of about 10 minutes total. I'll save you the visual of the over 50's man wearing spandex shorts with NOTHING over them. I was just behind him for about a mile or so.

Now Carol did you have to point out the Mint Festival which has not even occurred yet?!?! I should never have looked it up because now it will be nagging at me.

Sorry, I'm not really into mugs, but the giant muffin does impress me. Banana?

umm... your description of the event still doesn't sell me on running... The shirt IS cute, but, I'd rather walk the sidewalks of Birch Run to find a deal. The mug is nice though.

If this event was your first race ever you would probably quit running! It was a very tough run and getting down steps of any sort is not easy for me right now. However, I would rather run 10 miles in a swamp than shop Birch Run ;) To each his own.

The mug is awesome and has taken over as my favorite because I had to work for it.

Hmmm...maybe you should lone your ergonomic (is that spelled right?) mug to Meredith now that you have a new favorite. You know, so the "erg" doesn't feel neglected and all.

The other day when Meredith brought my forgotten mug over Vinnie assumed that I had let her borrow it to use it. A couple of days later he wanted to use my mug (I thought he was talking about my new trail mug) and I said no, gosh I hadn't even used it yet. He got all jealous and said that I let Meredith use it! Once I knew he was talking about that old thing I told him sure. Men are funny like that.
